Backend Developer

We’re looking for a top-notch Software Engineers who always sweat the small stuff and care about impeccable code. Our platform is written in Golang, Javascript and K8s are used for deployment. This position reports to our VP Engineering.

What you’ll do

• Develop and maintain backend services using a backend language (preferably Golang or Python).
• Gain proficiency in frameworks such as Django and go-based frameworks like Gokit.
• Execute basic SQL operations and ensure database integrity.
• Demonstrate a solid understanding of Linux/Unix operating systems and execute Linux commands proficiently.
• Implement and optimize data structures and algorithms (DSA) in the development process.
• Familiarity with caching mechanisms and queuing services like Kafka.
• Work collaboratively to debug errors in the system based on provided code.
• Take accountability for the quality and performance of the assigned tasks.

What you should have

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Hands-on 2- 4 Year experience with a backend language (preferably Golang or Python).
• Managed or contributed to mid/large repositories of any service.
• Advanced SQL proficiency.
• Complete understanding of Linux/Unix operating systems.
• Familiarity with caching, queuing, and system design.
• Hands-on experience with AWS/GCP Console and worked on EKS (Elastic Kubernetes Service).
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and ability to manage/create new CI/CD processes.
• Ability to write scripts; language-agnostic skills are a plus.
• Strong debugging skills and accountability for system integrity.
