Job Description

Job Title: Backend Developer (Node.js) Job Summary - We are seeking a skilled Backend Developer with strong experience in Node.js, Express.js, MySQL, phpMyAdmin, and Sequelize ORM. The ideal candidate will be responsible for building, maintaining, and optimizing server-side applications, APIs, and database-driven systems to support scalable web applications. Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and maintain backend services using Node.js and Express.js Design, implement, and manage RESTful APIs Work with MySQL databases, including schema design, queries, and performance optimization Use Sequelize ORM for database modeling, migrations, and associations Manage and maintain databases using phpMyAdmin Collaborate with frontend developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic Ensure application security, data protection, and best coding practices Debug, test, and optimize application performance Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code Required Skills & QualificationsStrong proficiency in Node.js and Express.js Solid understanding of MySQL relational databases Hands-on experience with Sequelize ORM Experience using phpMyAdmin for database administration Knowledge of asynchronous programming and REST API architecture Familiarity with Git or other version control systems Basic understanding of security best practices in backend development Preferred QualificationsExperience with deployment and server environments (Linux, cloud platforms) Knowledge of authentication/authorization (JWT, OAuth) Familiarity with MVC or similar backend architectures
