Experience: 3 plus years Role Focus: Backend Engineering, Node.js, AWS, Microservices Technical Skills & Requirements Core Backend Expertise Strong proficiency in JavaScript (Node.js) with hands-on experience in building scalable backend services. Expertise in developing RESTful APIs using Express.js or similar frameworks. Ability to write modular, reusable, and testable backend code following best practices. Practical experience with unit testing frameworks such as Jest, Mocha, or Chai. In-depth understanding of asynchronous programming, Promises, async/await, and robust error-handling techniques. Prior experience working with microservices architecture and distributed system design patterns. AWS Cloud Expertise — Mandatory API Gateway (WebSocket API experience is a strong advantage) AWS Lambda SNS (Simple Notification Service) SQS (Simple Queue Service) S3 SES (Simple Email Service) Strong knowledge of AWS CloudFormation for Infrastructure as Code. DynamoDB Expertise Strong NoSQL data modeling and DynamoDB design patterns. Experience with single-table design principles.
