Backend Developer

Were looking for:

• We are seeking an experienced Backend Developer with a strong background in Java and Spring Boot, as well as a good understanding of databases like MySQL and MongoDB.
• The candidate should also have knowledge of Linux systems, deployment, AWS, and microservices architecture.
• As a Backend Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining the backend systems of our applications while ensuring scalability, performance, and reliability.
• You should be able to work collaboratively with other team members and stakeholders to deliver high-quality and timely solutions.
• The ideal candidate should have at least 3-9 years of experience in backend development.
  

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain the backend systems of our applications using Java and Spring Boot.
• Ensure the scalability, performance, and reliability of the backend systems by writing clean, maintainable, and efficient code.
• Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders to define project requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Participate in code reviews, debugging, and troubleshooting to ensure the quality of the codebase.
• Develop and maintain database schemas, queries, and stored procedures using MySQL, MongoDB, and ElasticSearch.
• Deploy the backend systems to Linux servers and configure them for optimal performance and security.
• Implement microservice architecture and design APIs for communication between services.
• Monitor and maintain the backend systems in production, troubleshoot issues, and provide timely solutions.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and trends in backend development, and apply them to the project when necessary.
• Write and maintain documentation related to the project, such as technical specifications, user manuals, and release notes.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 3-9 years of experience in backend development using Java and Spring Boot.
• Strong knowledge of database systems, including MySQL and MongoDB, and ability to write complex queries and stored procedures.
• Familiarity with Linux systems and experience with deployment and maintenance of backend systems on Linux servers.
• Experience with AWS services, such as EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, and API Gateway.
• Familiarity with microservices architecture and experience with designing and implementing APIs for communication between services.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, and the ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with other team members and stakeholders.
