About the Role:

We are looking for a motivated Java Backend Developer Intern to join our engineering team. The intern will work closely with senior developers to design, develop, and maintain backend components, APIs, and databases for scalable web applications. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in backend development using Java and Spring Boot frameworks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in designing and developing server-side applications using Java and Spring Boot.
• Build, test, and maintain Restful APIs and micro services.
• Collaborate with frontend developers and other team members for integration and performance optimization.
• Work with databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or Mongo DB for data storage and retrieval.
• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code following best practices.
• Participate in code reviews, documentation, and debugging sessions.
• Support deployment and version control using Git and GitHub.

Required Skills & Technologies:

• Strong understanding of Core Java, OOPs concepts, and Data Structures.
• Hands-on experience or knowledge of Spring Boot, Hibernate/JPA, and REST APIs.
• Familiarity with SQL and relational database management systems (MySQL/PostgreSQL).
• Understanding of JSON, HTTP methods, and API development.
• Basic knowledge of Git for version control.
• Good problem-solving, analytical, and debugging skills.

Preferred / Nice to Have:

• Exposure to micro services architecture.
• Understanding of cloud deployment (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Familiarity with Maven/Gradle builds tools.
• Knowledge of JUnit or other testing frameworks.
• Previous experience in backend projects, college projects, or internships.

Qualifications:

• Pursuing or completed Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Strong enthusiasm to learn new backend technologies and frameworks.
• Ability to work independently and within a collaborative team environment.

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
