Back End Developer

Fully Remote

We are seeking a skilled Backend Developer to design, build, and maintain the server-side logic, databases, and APIs that power our applications. You will collaborate closely with front-end developers, product managers, and DevOps teams to create scalable, secure, and high-performance systems.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain server-side applications, APIs, and databases.

Ensure application performance, scalability, and reliability.

Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.

Implement security and data protection best practices.

Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following coding standards.

Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement of development processes.

Troubleshoot and debug issues in development, testing, and production environments.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.

2+ years of experience in backend development.

Proficiency in backend programming languages such as Python, Java, Node.js, Ruby, or Go.

Strong knowledge of databases (SQL and/or NoSQL) and data modeling.

Experience with RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and microservices architecture.

Familiarity with version control systems (Git) and collaboration tools.

Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Preferred Skills

Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).

Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment processes.

Familiarity with message queues, caching mechanisms, and event-driven architectures.

Understanding of performance optimization and load testing.
