Back End Developer

Role Overview: As a Backend Developer in Perth, your main role will involve working with developers to build algorithms and develop end-user functionality. You will be responsible for producing clean, efficient, safe, and quality code based on specifications. Troubleshooting, debugging, and upgrading the system in various environments will also be part of your duties. Working within an agile environment to deliver against a backlog and contributing to continuous improvement through agile processes are essential aspects of this role. Additionally, creating concise technical documentation will be required. Key Responsibilities: - Work with developers to build algorithms and develop end-user functionality. - Produce clean, efficient, safe, and quality code based on specifications. - Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade the system in various environments. - Work within an agile environment to deliver against a backlog. - Contribute to continuous improvement through agile processes. - Create concise technical documentation. Qualifications Required: - BSc in Computer Science, BEng in Software Engineering, or similar. - Proven 5+ years experience as a Software Developer or similar role. - Familiarity with Agile development methodologies. - Experience with technologies such as C# .NET Core, ASP.NET, Entity Framework, Web API. - Experience with database technologies, specifically SQL Server. - Proficiency with unit testing frameworks. - Experience with microservice architectures and containerization using Docker and Kubernetes. - Familiarity with Linux systems. - Strong customer-facing and interaction skills. - Good communication skills. - Ability to work with and manage offshore teams.
