Role Description We’re looking for a Junior Backend Developer who’s passionate about building reliable, scalable, and secure server-side applications using Node.js . You’ll be working closely with our tech team to develop APIs, manage databases, and do frontend integration with frameworks like Next.js . This is a great opportunity for someone who’s eager to grow in a fast-paced and supportive environment. Daily tasks will include coding, debugging, and collaborating with front-end developers to create a seamless user experience. Responsibilities: Develop and maintain backend services using Node.js and Express/NestJS Design and implement RESTful APIs Integrate the developed APIs in NextJS frontend. Integrate and manage databases (MongoDB, PostgreSQL, etc.) Debug, troubleshoot, and optimize backend performance Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code Work with version control (Git) and participate in code reviews Deploying and maintaining services on cloud platforms(AWS, Digital Ocean) or servers Required Skills: Solid understanding of JavaScript, Typescript and Node.js Familiarity with Express.js , MongoDB/PostgreSQL and NextJS. Experience building or consuming REST APIs Basic understanding of frontend API integration (using fetch, Axios, etc.) Knowledge of tools like Postman , Git , and basic terminal/CLI usage Understanding of authentication methods like JWT or OAuth Willingness to learn and adapt quickly Nice to Have: Exposure to ORMs like Prisma , Mongoose , or Sequelize Understanding of Docker , Redis , or background jobs Experience with CI/CD pipelines .
