Job Description

Node.js, PostgreSQL, and GraphQL

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain backend services using

    Node.js

  • Build and optimize

    GraphQL APIs

    for high-performance applications
  • Work extensively with

    PostgreSQL

    , including complex queries, optimization, and schema design
  • Develop microservices and ensure clean, modular, and scalable architecture
  • Integrate external APIs, third-party services, and internal modules
  • Collaborate with front-end, DevOps, and product teams to deliver end-to-end solutions
  • Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and architectural planning
  • Ensure application performance, security, and reliability
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize backend systems

Required Skills

  • Strong hands-on experience in

    Node.js (Express/Nest.js preferred)

  • Proficiency in

    PostgreSQL

    (functions, indexing, query optimization)
  • Solid understanding of

    GraphQL

    (Apollo Server or similar)
  • Experience with RESTful APIs and microservices architecture
  • Knowledge of TypeScript is a plus
  • Understanding of authentication, authorization, and API security best practices
