Description
Role & responsibilities - design and development of backend systems and APIs using Node.js, Express, or Fastify. - Architect and implement scalable, secure, and high-performance systems. - Collaborate with product managers, frontend developers, DevOps, and QA teams. - Mentor junior developers, conduct code reviews, and enforce best practices. - Own the CI/CD pipeline and promote automation, testing, and deployment efficiency. - Optimize applications for speed and scalability. - Ensure security and data protection implementation across services. - Monitor and troubleshoot production issues and implement fixes proactively. - Stay up-to-date with new backend trends, technologies, and best practices. Preferred candidate profile -Strong experience Node.js, Express, or Fastify - Strong experience with RESTful API design and microservices architecture. - Hands-on experience with databases PostgreSQL, Redis. - Familiarity with message queues and event-driven architecture. - Proficient in Git, Docker, and CI/CD tools (e.g., GitHub Actions, Jenkins). - Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure. - Solid understanding of unit/integration testing (e.g., Jest, Mocha). - Experience leading teams or projects, with good project management skills. - Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
