Back End Developer

As a Back-end Developer, your primary responsibilities will include API & Microservice Development, Data & Security, Deployment & Monitoring, and Collaboration & Release Support. You will be tasked with building and maintaining REST (and optional GraphQL) endpoints in Node.js (Express or NestJS) and writing Firebase Cloud Functions for real-time logic when necessary. Additionally, you will design schemas in Firestore / SQL / NoSQL as required, implement authentication, authorization, and role-based access, and connect to third-party AI services and external APIs. Automation of CI/CD processes, usage of Docker or cloud builds, deployment to Firebase, GCP, AWS, or similar platforms, setting up logging, alerting, and performance monitoring will also be part of your responsibilities. You will collaborate closely with React and Flutter engineers to define contracts and return structures, participate in app release cycles, and ensure backend readiness and versioning. To excel in this role, you should have at least 5 years of experience in building production back-end systems with Node.js, solid expertise with Firebase (Auth, Firestore, Cloud Functions) or equivalent serverless stacks, strong skills in database design, a deep understanding of RESTful principles, web security, and scalability patterns, experience in deploying and operating services in a public cloud environment, familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Git workflows, and automated testing, as well as fluent English communication skills. It is essential that you are comfortable documenting tasks and documentation in Notion and explaining architecture to the team. Your active participation in stand-ups and code reviews will contribute to the success of the team and efficient project delivery.,
