Business Analyst Lead

Key Responsibilities:

Requirement Gathering & Solution Scoping (Core Focus):

• Lead workshops, discovery sessions, and interviews to

  identify, clarify, and validate business problems

  .
• Translate client needs into

  well-defined business, functional, non-functional, and data/AI requirements

  .
• Scope the solution by defining

  what should be built, why it is needed, and how AI/analytics can be leveraged

  .
• Develop detailed

  business process models, user stories, and solution outlines

  , ensuring alignment with business outcomes.
• Anticipate risks and ambiguities in requirements, proactively resolving gaps before moving to solution design.
• Act as the

  custodian of requirements

  throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring clarity, traceability, and alignment with the solution vision.

Presales & Solutioning:

• Collaborate with sales and solution architects to frame

  problem statements and proposed AI/data-driven solutions

  .
• Prepare proposals, SOWs, and presentations highlighting the

  business value of AI/ML, predictive insights, and data automation

  .
• Ensure all proposed solutions are

  realistic, scoped accurately, and aligned to customer expectations

  .

Customer Handling & Advocacy:

• Act as the trusted advisor for clients, guiding them from

  problem definition to solution adoption

  .
• Align customer goals with

  AI feasibility, ethical AI practices, and data governance frameworks

  .
• Proactively recommend enhancements, ensuring clients extract maximum value from

  data insights and predictive models

  .

Project Outcome & Success:

• Partner with project managers, developers, and data scientists to ensure solutions are

  delivered exactly as scoped

  .
• Support

  UAT, model validation, and solution testing

  , ensuring outputs meet both business and AI-driven expectations.
• Monitor KPIs and project outcomes, identifying opportunities for

  continuous improvement and optimization

  .

Deliverables:

Business Analyst Lead

• Business Requirement Documents (BRDs)

  capturing clear and validated business needs.

• Functional Requirement Documents (FRDs)

  defining detailed system, data, and AI/ML functional needs.

• Scope Documents & Statements of Work (SOWs)

  outlining solution boundaries, deliverables, timelines, and success criteria.

• Use Case & AI Opportunity Documentation

  – identifying where predictive analytics, automation, or ML can add business value.

• User Stories, Acceptance Criteria, and Traceability Matrices

  – ensuring requirements are testable and linked throughout the lifecycle.

• Business Process Models & Workflow Diagrams

  – highlighting existing and future (AI-enabled) processes.

• Solution Evaluation Reports

  – documenting feasibility, risks, and ROI of proposed AI/data-driven solutions.

• Client-Facing Presentations & Proposals

  – showcasing solution design, roadmap, and measurable benefits.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Science, Business administration, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related field.
• Minimum of 7 years as a Business Analyst (Lead/Consulting role preferred), with

  strong experience in requirement gathering and solution scoping

  .
• Proven ability to define problems clearly and propose structured, innovative solutions.
• Exposure to

  AI/ML or analytics-based projects

  .
• Familiarity with Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall methodologies.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to

  explain complex AI/data concepts in business terms

  .
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in

  AI/ML solutioning, data analytics, or intelligent automation projects

  .
• Familiarity with

  BI and visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI), AI/ML platforms, and cloud-based data ecosystems

  .
• Understanding of

  data governance, model lifecycle management, and ethical AI practices

  .
• Ability to create structured

  requirement traceability matrices

  and scope documents.
• Knowledge of integrating

  AI pipelines and predictive modeling

  into business processes.
