Job Description

Position Objective: To form an integral and key part for the regions of India Aftermarket team and assist in the development of the business plan and identification of the skills and infrastructure required to achieve the aims of this plan. The work content is technically orientated however an important objective is through group success in meeting commercial targets. The role has responsibility in initially assisting and eventually handling jobs technically and commercially from receipt of the clients enquiry through to the order completion. The above is expected to get educated on the product range and enhance his application skills in a short period of time. This shall be achieved through a process of self-learning, company training and market exposure. The above will support initially and handle eventually products assigned. (Provides support mainly on application; Selection, Design of proposed system, Drawing preparation, Estimation and quotation. Sales and Marketing responsibilities are always accompanied. International &/or local travel will be a requirement of the role. Key Responsibilities: Experience in conducting Site Survey to measure and collect information as required for the technical proposal. Participate in technical meetings with customers to assist in resolution of problems or complaints. Performs technical review of client enquiries, recommending conformance with the standards and exceptions for the Job Knowledge in Principles of filtration Knowledge in latest Filtration standards and testing Knowledge in Self-Cleaning & Static filtration system working principles & product range for Gas Turbine application Experience in visiting offshore platforms + BOSIET certification (added advantage) Experience in Retrofit for Gas Turbine Auxiliary component, like: - Exhaust System, Ventilation unit, GT Enclosure, Air intake cooling system etc. Responsible for meeting commercial targets for Indian Territory. Collaborating with senior executives to establish and execute a sales goal for the region. Forecasting annual, quarterly and monthly sales goals Developing specific plans to ensure growth both long and short-term. Appointing agents and distributors Make recommendations on product enhancements for improved sales potential. Evaluate appropriate new sales techniques and ensure its implementation to increase sales volume of the region. Performs technical and commercial review of client’s enquiry. Provides market data for product/sales development. Prepares required sales and marketing tools. Prepares required tools for executing jobs efficiently and in a short time. Gathers information related to product applications, technical assistance, pricing strategies and competitive information to field sales. Participates in meetings or direct communications with customers or field sales offices to assist in resolution of problems or complaints. Prepares and distributes literature, pricing information, technical data and promotional material to customers. Maintains a teamwork philosophy with other departments to facilitate problem solving and provide good customer service. Performs other related duties as assigned or requested. Knowledge/Experience: Mechanical Engineering Degree or similar Languages required: English, Hindi (additional regional languages advantage) 7+ years ’ experience in similar role level, in sales of technical products / equipment. Enthusiastic about the product and willingness to learn and develop throughout the company. Confident Microsoft Office ability AutoCAD Knowledge and Working Experience
