Job Description

Head of B2B Marketing

Key Responsibilities

1.

  • Build, optimize, and manage the entire B2B marketing funnel (awareness consideration evaluation conversion).
  • Develop and execute lead generation strategies across digital, email, ABM, events, and partnerships.
  • Own lead scoring, nurturing, segmentation, and pipeline contribution metrics.
  • Collaborate closely with Sales to ensure lead quality, follow-ups, and funnel efficiency.

2. Case Studies, Content & Thought Leadership

  • Lead creation of case studies, whitepapers, playbooks, and success stories with clients.
  • Drive thought-leadership content (blogs, POVs, research reports, webinars, speaker sessions).
  • Create narratives that position the company as a category leader.
  • Ensure consistent brand voice across all B2B touchpoints.

3. Strategy, Positioning & Messaging

  • Develop and refine GTM strategy for products and enterprise solutions.
  • Define positioning, competitive differentiation, and value propositions.
  • Evaluate market trends, customer insights, and competitor activity to build strong messaging frameworks.

4. Marketing Analytics & Performance

  • Own marketing KPIs: MQLs, SQLs, CAC, conversion rates, pipeline influence, ROI.
  • Monitor analytics dashboards; optimize campaigns based on data.
  • Conduct regular reporting for leadership and cross-functional teams.

5. Team Leadership & Collaboration

  • Build and mentor a high-performing content, demand-gen, and digital marketing team.
  • Manage agencies, freelancers, and B2B marketing partners.
  • Work cross-functionally with Product, Sales, Customer Success, HR, and Leadership.

Required Candidate Profile

  • 10- 15+ years of experience in B2B SaaS / Enterprise / Tech marketing.
  • Proven success in building marketing teams, scaling funnels, and owning revenue targets.
  • Strong executive presence, communication, and stakeholder management.
  • Ability to conceptualize high-impact campaigns and thought-leadership initiatives.
  • Experience with ABM, CRM, marketing automation, and full-funnel analytics.

Education

  • MBA/PGDM in Marketing, Communications, or related field preferred.
  • Certification in digital or B2B marketing is a plus. IMP NOTE
