Job Description

Key Responsibilities

Tax Compliance & Reporting
- Prepare, review, and file corporate income tax, indirect tax (VAT/GST), and withholding tax returns in compliance with applicable laws.
- Ensure timely submission of tax filings and payments.
- Maintain accurate tax records and documentation for audit purposes.
Tax Planning & Advisory
- Provide guidance on the tax implications of business transactions, contracts, and cross-border arrangements.
- Identify opportunities for tax savings and efficiency within the legal framework.
- Support management in strategic decision-making with tax-related insights.
Audit & Regulatory Support
- Liaise with tax authorities and external auditors during audits, assessments, and inquiries.
- Prepare necessary documentation and explanations for tax reviews.
- Monitor changes in tax laws and regulations and assess their impact on the company.
Internal Controls & Process Improvements
- Develop and implement strong tax control processes to minimize risks.
- Drive automation and improvements in tax reporting and compliance processes.
- Train and mentor junior finance staff on taxation matters.
