Azure DevOps Engineer Department : Technology Location : Gurugram Company : MSM Unify Employment Type : Full-Time About MSM Unify MSM Unify is a leading global edtech platform dedicated to simplifying international education through innovative technology and strategic partnerships. We are expanding our tech team to support and scale our digital infrastructure, and are looking for passionate professionals to join us. Position Summary We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Azure DevOps Engineer to join our Technology team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for building and maintaining robust CI/CD pipelines, managing cloud infrastructure, and supporting development teams through automation, monitoring, and best practices in DevOps. Key Responsibilities CI/CD Pipeline Management Design, implement, and manage scalable CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps. Automate software delivery and deployment processes to improve speed and reliability. Cloud Infrastructure Management Provision and manage Azure resources (VMs, AKS, App Services, Azure Functions, Key Vault, etc.). Ensure infrastructure scalability, availability, and fault tolerance. Automation & Scripting Automate tasks using PowerShell, Bash, or Python. Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) with tools like Terraform , ARM Templates , or Bicep . Monitoring & Troubleshooting Set up monitoring using Azure Monitor , Application Insights , and third-party tools. Identify and resolve pipeline or deployment issues to ensure system reliability. Collaboration with Development Teams Partner with developers and operations teams to understand system requirements and deployment strategies. Promote DevOps culture and best practices across teams. Security & Compliance Integrate security practices in CI/CD pipelines (secret management, scanning tools, etc.). Ensure adherence to regulatory and internal security guidelines. Version Control & Branching Manage source code using Git or similar tools. Maintain best practices for branching, merging, and versioning strategies. Documentation & Knowledge Sharing Create detailed documentation for pipelines, deployments, and troubleshooting. Mentor junior engineers and conduct DevOps knowledge-sharing sessions. Required Technical Skills Strong hands-on experience with Azure DevOps (Boards, Repos, Pipelines, Artifacts). Proficiency in Azure services (VMs, App Services, Azure Functions, Key Vault, AKS). Infrastructure as Code: Terraform , ARM Templates , or Bicep . Scripting: PowerShell , Bash , or Python . Familiarity with Docker , Kubernetes (AKS) . Strong Git experience for version control and collaboration. Preferred Qualifications Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. 36 years of experience in DevOps or cloud engineering roles. Azure certifications (e.g., AZ-400 , AZ-104 ) are a plus. Experience working in a fast-paced, agile software development environment.
