Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced Azure Databricks Developer* with a strong background in *Python, *.NET*, **SQL, and **Azure Data Services. The ideal candidate should be proficient in building scalable data pipelines, transforming large datasets, and implementing robust data solutions on the Azure platform. This is a full-time on-site role based in **Kochi*.

Key Responsibilities:

* Develop and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines using *Azure Databricks* and *Apache Spark*

* Integrate *Python* and *.NET (C#)* code for data transformation, validation, and automation

* Work with *Azure Data Lake, **SQL Server, and **Azure Data Factory* for data ingestion and storage

* Optimize and tune Spark jobs for performance and scalability

* Collaborate with data analysts, BI developers, and business users to understand data needs

* Implement best practices for code versioning, testing, and documentation

* Ensure data security, integrity, and compliance with organizational policies

Required Skills:

* 3–5 years of experience in data engineering or related fields

* Hands-on expertise in *Azure Databricks* and *Spark*

* Strong knowledge of *Python* and *.NET (C#)* for scripting and integration

* Proficient in writing complex *SQL queries* and stored procedures

* Experience working with *Azure Data Factory, **Azure SQL DB, and **Data Lake Storage*

* Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and Git-based version control

* Strong problem-solving and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:

* Knowledge of *Delta Lake, **Databricks SQL, or **Unity Catalog*

* Familiarity with *Power BI* or ML integrations is a plus

* Microsoft certifications (e.g., *DP-203*) or Databricks certifications are a bonus
