About The Role

We are seeking a motivated Mid-level Data Engineer with hands-on experience in Databricks to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in data engineering principles and a passion for building scalable data solutions. This role involves working with modern data platforms to design, develop, and optimize data pipelines that support analytics and business intelligence.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain ETL pipelines using Databricks.
Perform environment setup, establish data connections, and conduct testing within Databricks.
Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and business stakeholders to deliver high-quality data solutions.
Optimize data workflows for performance and cost efficiency.
Ensure data quality, integrity, and security across all processes.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues in data pipelines and workflows.
Working knowledge in modernization project development.

Required Qualifications

3 years as a Data Engineer with 1–2 years of experience in specifically in Databricks.
Proficiency in Databricks (mandatory).
Strong understanding of SQL and relational databases.
Familiarity with data modeling and ETL concepts.
Fluent in English (written and spoken).
Must be available to work until 11:00 AM EST daily.
Can start work in early November

Preferred Skills

Experience with PySpark (a strong plus).
Knowledge of cloud platforms (Azure).
Familiarity with Delta Lake and data Lakehouse architecture.
Basic understanding of CI/CD and version control (Git).
