Role Description

Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled and motivated AWS Glue Data Engineer to join our data engineering team The ideal candidate will have handson experience designing and implementing scalable ETL pipelines using AWS Glue and a strong understanding of cloudbased data architecture You will play a key role in transforming raw data into actionable insights that drive business decisionsKey ResponsibilitiesDesign develop and maintain ETL pipelines using AWS Databricks/Glue PySpark and other AWS servicesCollaborate with data scientists analysts and business stakeholders to understand data requirementsOptimize data workflows for performance scalability and costefficiencyImplement data quality checks validation and monitoring processesIntegrate data from various sources including S3 RDS Redshift and external APIsEnsure data security and compliance with organizational and regulatory standardsDocument technical solutions and maintain data engineering best practices

Required Qualifications

Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science Engineering or a related field3 years of experience in data engineering with at least 12 years using AWS GlueProficiency in Python PySpark and SQLStrong understanding of AWS services such as S3 Lambda Redshift Athena and IAMExperience with data modeling data warehousing and big data technologiesFamiliarity with CICD pipelines and version control eg Git

Preferred Qualifications
