AWS Data Engineer Lead

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the design and development of robust data pipelines and ETL processes using AWS services such as

  Glue

  ,

  Athena

  , and

  Spark

  .
• Architect and implement scalable data solutions that support business intelligence, analytics, and machine learning initiatives.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Ensure data quality, integrity, and security across all data platforms.
• Optimize performance of data systems and troubleshoot issues in production environments.
• Document data architecture, workflows, and processes for internal and external stakeholders.
• Mentor junior data engineers and contribute to best practices and standards.

Technical Skills Required:-

• Cloud Platforms:

  Strong hands-on experience with

  AWS

  (Glue, Athena, S3, Lambda, etc.)

• Big Data Technologies:

  Proficiency in

  Apache Spark

  ,

  Databricks

  , and distributed data processing.

• Databases:

  Experience with at least one

  RDBMS

  (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQL Server).

• Data Modeling:

  Expertise in

  3NF

  (Third Normal Form) and

  Dimensional Data Modeling

  .

• Programming Languages:

  Proficiency in

  SQL

  ,

  Python

  , or

  Scala

  .

• Version Control & CI/CD:

  Familiarity with Git, Jenkins, or similar tools is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications:-

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• AWS certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Data Analytics – Specialty) are a strong advantage.
• Experience working in Agile environments and using tools like Jira or Confluence.
