As the AVP, Senior Functional Remediation Coordinator (L11) at Synchrony, you will play a crucial role in leading complex consumer remediations involving multiple levels of customer harm, ambiguity, or regulatory complexity. Your responsibilities will include managing a portfolio of complex and moderately complex remediation projects, collaborating with process owners, SMEs, and Analytics to identify impacted customer populations, and assessing the nature and extent of harm requiring remediation. You will be responsible for handling remediations with ambiguous or undefined paths, requiring strong business process knowledge to design unique remediation plans and expert-level understanding of the remediation process. Additionally, you will mentor and coach Functional Remediation Coordinators (FRCs), manage escalations, make autonomous decisions on remediation approaches, timelines, and resource allocation, and partner with leadership and stakeholders to drive initiatives that optimize customer remediation methods and improve organizational efficiency. In this role, you will work closely with issue owners and functional leaders to define expectations, manage deliverables, and secure actionable commitments for remediation efforts. You will foster collaboration across departments such as Compliance, Legal, Operations, Growth, CD& Sales, and Finance to ensure coordinated execution of remediation plans. Furthermore, you will identify gaps or risks in the remediation process and escalate issues to relevant parties in a timely manner. To qualify for this role, you should have a Bachelor's degree with 6+ years of experience in the financial services industry, operations, or customer service. Alternatively, 8+ years of relevant work experience in lieu of a degree will be considered. You should possess 3+ years of Project Management experience within Financial Services, along with proven ability to lead highly complex projects. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, excellent interpersonal, analytical, organizational, written, and verbal communication skills are essential for this position. Desired skills include experience with Synchrony systems, a deep understanding of Credit, experience working in agile environments, creative problem-solving skills, and familiarity with issue management processes and procedures. This role offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, collaborating with cross-functional teams and driving impactful remediation efforts to ensure customer satisfaction and regulatory compliance. If you meet the eligibility criteria and have the required skills and experience, we encourage you to apply for this role and take the next step in your career at Synchrony.,
