We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Project Head to lead end-to-end SAW pipe manufacturing projects in India and international locations. The jobholder will be responsible for the end-to-end execution of SAW (HSAW and LSAW) pipe manufacturing projects, ensuring timely delivery, cost efficiency, and adherence to quality and safety standards. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in large-diameter pipe manufacturing, strong leadership skills, and the ability to manage complex, high-value projects in in India and international locations. Key Responsibilities Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, timelines, budgets, and resource requirements for SAW pipe manufacturing projects. Oversee the entire project lifecycle, from site selection and setup to commissioning and handover of manufacturing facilities. Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, procurement, production, and quality assurance, to ensure seamless project execution. Manage the setup, installation, and commissioning of SAW pipe manufacturing equipment and related coating systems. Coordinate with equipment suppliers, contractors, and regulatory authorities to ensure project deliverables meet expectations. Negotiate contracts and manage vendor relationships to secure high-quality materials and services within budget constraints. Communicate project progress, risks, and milestones to senior management and stakeholders through regular reports and presentations. Identify potential risks (technical, operational, financial, or environmental) and develop mitigation strategies. Manage projects at international locations, adapting to local regulations, cultural nuances, and logistical challenges. Ensure compliance with local and international regulations, safety standards, and environmental guidelines. Lead and mentor a multidisciplinary project team, provide technical guidance and support to team members. Qualifications and Experience Education : BE Mechanical/Electrical/ Industrial Engineering, or a related field. Experience : Minimum 20+ years of experience in project management within the pipe manufacturing industry, with at least 5 years in SAW pipe projects. Proven track record of successfully delivering large-scale, high-value manufacturing projects in India and/or international locations. Core Capabilities In-depth knowledge of SAW pipe manufacturing processes Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Primavera, or equivalent). Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and work under pressure to meet deadlines. Problem-solving mindset with a focus on innovation and efficiency. F luency in English is mandatory; proficiency in additional languages is an advantage for international projects. Willingness to travel extensively India and abroad.
