We are strengthening Contracts & Procurement function in Mumbai. Job Purpose:To lead cost planning, control, and analysis for Man Industries (India) ltd, ensuring effective planning management of raw material costs, consumables, and overheads across manufacturing plants and headquarters. The role will support the company's expansion strategy by driving cost optimization, enhancing financial decision-making, and ensuring compliance with cost audit requirements, with the ultimate goal of efficient resource utilization.Key Responsibilities:1. Develop and oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual cost budgets for production, raw material procurement (e.g., HR Sheets, steel coils, coatings), consumables, and overheads across all manufacturing plants and support functions.2. Conduct variance analysis (budget vs. actual) with detailed insights into deviations, focusing on raw material price fluctuations, production inefficiencies, and overhead costs.3. Perform what-if scenario analyses to evaluate the impact of cost changes, raw material pricing, and operational decisions on project wise Net Sales Realization (NSR) and EBITDA.4. Identify cost-saving opportunities across departments (production, maintenance, quality, etc.) and plants, with a focus on high-value raw material procurement and consumable usage.5. Drive initiatives to reduce wastage, improve yield, and optimize supply chain costs in collaboration with Bulk Raw Material Procurement and Shipping & Logistics teams.6. Benchmark costs against industry peers in the pipe manufacturing and coating sector to ensure competitiveness.7. Leverage deep knowledge of costing in the steel and pipe manufacturing industry, including processes like ERW/saw pipe production, coating applications, and associated energy/power costs.8. Lead the cost reduction initiative Location: Mumbai (Headquarters), with travel to manufacturing plants as required Qualification: Chartered Accountant (CA) / Cost and Management Accountant (ICWA)Experience: Minimum 15 years of relevant experience in cost accounting/control, preferably in the steel/pipe manufacturing industry CTC - Rs 25 L to 30 L (Commensurate to experience and qualifications and not a constraint for right candidate) Reports to: CFO / Top Management
