Job Description

Role Overview: As AVP/Director/Head of Sales & Revenue at Experience Commerce (EC), you will be responsible for owning and driving the revenue charter for EC's Digital Agency & Tech business vertical. This dynamic role requires you to lead new client conversations, shape pitches, and ensure sustained growth through new client acquisition and client retention. You will lead a team of 34 members, with the primary accountability for achieving revenue targets. Key Responsibilities: - Drive end-to-end revenue generation across Digital Agency services such as creative, media, and digital marketing, as well as Tech services including web, app, and ODC models. - Manage the new business pipeline by prospecting, qualifying, pitching, and closing deals with mid to large enterprise clients. - Act as the face of EC in new client pitches, leading presentations, developing narratives, and collaborating on solutions with strategy, creative, and tech leads. - Identify cross-sell and up-sell opportunities within the Cheil network accounts while establishing relationships with new clients in BFSI, Auto, Consumer Electronics, Retail, and FMCG sectors. - Lead and mentor a sales pod of 34 executives and managers, ensuring effective hunting, consistent follow-ups, and alignment with targets. - Collaborate with Business heads to shape revenue forecasts, go-to-market strategies, and productized service bundles. - Cultivate and maintain senior-level relationships with client decision-makers like CMOs, Heads of Digital, and Tech leaders. - Stay updated on market trends, competitor activities, and provide insights to contribute to EC's growth strategy. Qualifications Required: - 10-15 years of experience in business development/revenue roles within digital agencies, with a preference for a background in creative/digital strategy, media, or mar tech sales. - Demonstrated success in winning mid-to-large deals in verticals like BFSI, Auto, Retail, FMCG, and Consumer Tech. - Proficiency in crafting compelling pitches, commanding a room, storytelling, and closing deals effectively. - Strong understanding of digital agency service lines including creative, social, media, and tech builds, with comfort in technical discussions. - Proactive mindset with the ability to set and achieve targets, build pipelines, and engage in hands-on selling. - Experience in team leadership with a hands-on approach to leading pitches personally. - Blend of strategic thinking and street-smart selling, capable of initiating opportunities and expanding mandates.
