As an AVP Finance Transformation - ST&I at Barclays, you will be involved in Stress Testing and Impairment (ST&I) Finance Transaction Cycle. Your responsibilities will include hands-on transformation activities focused on building out the model capability around stress testing, impairments, and forecasting. This will require supporting the design of the future target state, planning, analysis, execution, process assessment, mapping, and communications. Key Responsibilities: - Extensive knowledge of the banking and financial markets sector - Certifications such as FRM (GARP), CFA, MBA Finance, CA/CPA, or any advanced Finance/Risk qualifications - Data Analytics and working knowledge of datasets, databases, and query languages (such as SQL) - Knowledge of reporting tools like Tableau or Qlik - Broad knowledge of modeling techniques for Stress Testing - Understanding of Stress Testing regulations and requirements Qualifications Required: - Data Analytics and working knowledge of datasets, databases, and query languages - Knowledge of reporting tools like Tableau or Qlik - Broad knowledge of modeling techniques for Stress Testing - Understanding of Stress Testing regulations and requirements This role will be based out of Noida & Chennai. Purpose of the role: To develop business capabilities for Finance through key stages of functional design, data, end-to-end process and controls, delivery, and functional testing. Accountabilities: - Functional Design: support options analysis and recommendations in collaboration with Line SMEs. - Data Analysis/Modelling/Governance: design the conceptual data model and governance requirements. - End-to-End Process & Controls: develop target process and controls design/documentation. - Delivery/Implementation Support: update design/functional requirements and resolve RAIDS. - Functional Testing: develop scripts and data to test alignment to requirement definitions. In this role, you are expected to advise and influence decision-making, contribute to policy development, and take responsibility for operational effectiveness. You will collaborate closely with other functions/business divisions and lead a team performing complex tasks.
