AVP - Basel IV

As an Assistant Vice President - Basel IV at Barclays, you will spearhead the evolution of the digital landscape, driving innovation and excellence. You will utilize cutting-edge technology to revolutionize digital offerings, ensuring unparalleled customer experiences. **Key Responsibilities:** - Develop and maintain a variety of risk reports, including credit, market, operational, and liquidity risk reports, and regulatory reports. - Extract risk data from various sources, including internal systems, risk models, and external market data feeds. - Analyze risk data to identify trends, patterns, and outliers, and assess the impact of risk exposures. - Monitor key risk indicators and metrics to identify emerging risks and track the effectiveness of risk mitigation strategies. - Develop and implement risk reporting improvements and automation initiatives. **Qualifications Required:** - Prior experience in PRA and EBA Reg reporting in any of the three streams: RWA, Leverage, and Large exposures. - Good understanding of PRA and EBA regulations related to the above three streams. - Ability to present and discuss data with stakeholders/Senior Management and clarify their questions, if any. - Qualified Chartered Accountant/FRM/CFA would be an added advantage. - Understanding of tech/automation tools like Alteryx, Python, etc. - Previous experience in handling projects related to new regulation implementations.
