Role Overview

The Unit Manager – Tele is responsible for leading a team of Virtual Relationship Managers (VRMs) to achieve business targets through effective portfolio management, cross-selling, and customer engagement. The role focuses on driving revenue, ensuring compliance, and enhancing customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Team Leadership:

• Manage and mentor a team of VRMs to achieve monthly and quarterly business targets
• Monitor performance metrics and implement strategies for improvement

• Business Growth:

• Drive acquisition, deepening, and upgrading of ETB and NTB relationships
• Ensure achievement of product-wise targets across Investments, Assets, and Liability products

• Customer Engagement:

• Ensure superior service delivery and resolution of client queries
• Promote cross-sell and upsell opportunities through proactive engagement

• Compliance & Risk Management:

• Adhere to regulatory guidelines and internal policies
• Ensure transparent processes and timely escalation of issues

Qualifications

• Postgraduate from a recognized institute
• 6–10 years of experience in BFSI sector, with at least 2–3 years in team management
• AMFI, IRDA & PMS certifications preferred

Role Proficiencies

• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Knowledge of banking products, industry trends, and regulatory norms
• Excellent communication (English & local language)
• Ability to manage complex client situations and meet deadlines
• High sales orientation and analytical skills
