AV Systems Programmer & Commissioning Engineer

We are seeking a skilled and motivated AV Systems Programmer & Commissioning Engineer to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the programming, configuration, integration, and commissioning of advanced audiovisual systems. This role involves close collaboration with clients, project teams, and IT professionals to deliver high-performance, network-integrated AV solutions.

Key Responsibilities

???? System Design & Programming

Collaborate with project teams to understand client requirements and design customized AV system solutions.

Develop control system programming for devices such as audio DSPs, video switchers, matrix routers, touch panels, and control processors.

Use industry-standard tools and platforms including Crestron, AMX, Extron, Biamp, BSS, Q-SYS, etc., to create custom user interfaces and automation logic.

Qualifications & Skills

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Electronics & Communication Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.

Technical Skills:

Strong knowledge of AV control system programming platforms such as Crestron SIMPL, AMX NetLinx Studio, Extron Global Configurator, Q-SYS Designer, Biamp Tesira, and Dante Controller.

Solid understanding of IT networking fundamentals, including IP addressing, switches, routers, VLANs, and network-based AV protocols.

Experience:

Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in AV system programming, commissioning, and integration.

Familiarity with audio DSPs, video distribution, control system protocols, and IT-integrated AV deployments.

Communication:

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Ability to collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Problem-Solving:

Strong troubleshooting capabilities and attention to detail.

Ability to resolve issues efficiently in live project environments.

Certifications (Preferred):

Crestron Certified Programmer (CCP), AMX Certified Expert (ACE), Q-SYS Level 1/2, Biamp Certification, or similar.

Must be based in Dubai or willing to relocate. A reliable daily commute is required.
