Automotive Engineer Trainee Job Title : Automotive Engineer Trainee Location : Chennai, Hyderabad, Bangalore Experience : 0-3 Responsibilities: Assist in thedesign, development, and validationof automotive systems including powertrain, chassis, and electrical subsystems. Work under the guidance of senior engineers tointerpret technical drawings, specifications, and standards. Supportprototype assembly and testing, including data collection, analysis, and reporting of performance metrics. Participate inroot cause analysisand troubleshooting of engineering issues during development and testing phases. Contribute to the preparation oftechnical documentation, including design reports, test plans, and compliance checklists. Collaborate with cross-functional teams such asdesign, manufacturing, and quality assuranceto ensure project alignment and timely delivery. Skills Required: * Bachelors degree inMechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a related discipline. Proficiency inCAD softwaresuch as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or CATIA for 3D modelling and drafting. * Basic understanding ofautomotive systems, materials, and manufacturing processes. Stronganalytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret engineering data and test results. * Effectivecommunication and teamwork abilities, with a proactive approach to learning and collaboration. * Familiarity withindustry standardssuch as ISO, SAE, and regulatory compliance (e.g., safety and emissions).
