Automation Testing - Playwright, Javascript, Typescript

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain robust automation test scripts using

  Playwright

  (JavaScript/TypeScript).
• Understand product requirements and create comprehensive test strategies, plans, and test cases.
  
• Integrate automated tests with CI/CD pipelines and ensure continuous quality delivery.
  
• Perform cross-browser and cross-platform testing to ensure consistent user experience.
  
• Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and QA team members to ensure high-quality releases.
  
• Identify bugs and provide detailed logs and reports for quicker resolution.
  
• Continuously improve the automation framework and introduce best practices.
  
• Participate in code reviews, mentoring, and knowledge sharing within the QA team.
  

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 4+ years

  of total experience in

  Automation Testing

  .
• Minimum

  2+ years of hands-on experience with Playwright

  .
• Strong programming/scripting knowledge in

  JavaScript

  or

  TypeScript

  .
• Experience with automation frameworks and tools like

  Selenium, Cypress, or WebDriverIO

  is a plus.
• Solid understanding of QA methodologies, test design, test automation, and defect management.
  
• Experience working in

  Agile/Scrum

  development environments.
• Familiarity with

  CI/CD tools

  such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps.
• Experience with

  API testing

  using tools like

  Postman

  ,

  RestAssured

  , or similar is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
  

Nice to Have:

• Knowledge of BDD frameworks like Cucumber.
  
• Experience with version control systems (Git/GitHub).
  
• Exposure to cloud-based test execution (e.g., BrowserStack, Sauce Labs).
  
• Prior experience working with teams in a fast-paced, enterprise environment.
