Automation Test Engineer (Playwright & Javascript )

DSRC is seeking an Automation Test Engineer having strong hands-on expertise with Javascript and Playwright.

Experience :

Location: Chennai

Responsibilities:

Playwright

· Develop and execute automated test scripts for UI components, ensuring high performance and reliability of our applications.

· Translate manual test cases into automated scripts for thorough functional, integration, and regression testing.

Agile framework

· Integrate automated testing scripts into CI/CD pipelines to enhance release efficiency.

· Work closely with development, product management, and DevOps teams to ensure comprehensive test coverage and facilitate efficient issue resolution.

· Utilize JIRA for test management and defect tracking, maintaining clear communication with stakeholders.

· Advocate for continuous improvement by adopting best practices in automation and quality assurance.

· Lead initiatives for continuous improvement of test processes and automation frameworks.

· Communicate effectively with clients, understanding their needs and providing clear updates on testing progress and application quality.

Requirements:

· Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

JavaScript

·  At least 3 years of experience in developing automated tests with Playwright.

·  Extensive experience integrating automated tests within CI/CD environments.

·  Proficiency in using JIRA for test case management and defect tracking.

·  Excellent programming and problem-solving skills.

·  Superior communication skills, particularly in liaising with clients to understand requirements and provide updates.

· Ability to adapt and perform effectively in a fast-paced Agile environment.
