Job Description

Job Title: Automation Technician / Automation Engineer

ITI in Instrumentation, or
Diploma in Instrumentation
B.Tech / B.E. in Instrumentation or related field

Job Summary:

Key Responsibilities:

Perform preventive and breakdown maintenance of

Laser cutting machines, CNC punching and bending machines, and other automated systems.
Troubleshoot electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and control system issues to minimize downtime.
Support installation, commissioning, and upgrades of automation equipment.
Maintain and calibrate sensors, instruments, and control systems as per schedule.
Monitor and maintain

utilities and facility systems

(compressed air, water, HVAC, etc.).
Handle

shift operations

and coordinate with production and quality teams to ensure machine availability.
Maintain maintenance logs, records, and reports.
Adhere to all safety, quality, and environmental standards.

Skills & Competencies:

Sound knowledge of

PLC systems, sensors, and instrumentation.
Experience with

Laser and CNC machinery

(punching, bending, cutting).
Ability to read and interpret electrical and mechanical drawings.
Basic understanding of

automation software and control systems.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
