Automation technical sales

As a Technical Sales & Estimation Engineer at Synergie Controls & Systems, your role involves a balance of technical expertise and commercial acumen to prepare accurate cost estimates, deliver competitive proposals, and drive customer engagement in the field of industrial automation, control panels, and drives solutions. Key Responsibilities: - Identify and pursue new business opportunities in target industries such as OEMs, process plants, infrastructure, and industrial automation projects. - Build and maintain long-term customer relationships through regular interaction and technical support. - Understand client requirements and recommend suitable Synergie solutions such as Control Panels, Drives, and Automation Systems. - Prepare and deliver technical presentations/demos to clients. - Review customer specifications, tender documents, and drawings. - Prepare BOQs, costing, and technical-commercial quotations in line with Synergie offerings. - Coordinate with internal engineering and procurement teams for pricing inputs and technical validations. - Ensure proposals are compliant with technical, commercial, and contractual terms. - Liaise with suppliers/vendors to obtain competitive pricing and technical data. - Support sales team in negotiations with customers by providing technical and commercial clarifications. - Provide regular updates on market trends, competitor activity, and pricing strategies. Qualifications & Experience: - B.E./B.Tech or Diploma in Electrical, Electronics, or Instrumentation Engineering. - 2-5 years of experience in technical sales, estimation, or proposal engineering (preferably in automation/control panel industry). - Customer-oriented, proactive, and able to work under tight deadlines.
