Automation Services Manager

As the Automation Services Manager at HSBC, your role is crucial in managing a team of Digital & Automation Engineers to deliver digital/automation solutions within scope, timeline, and budget. You will be the lead in engaging stakeholders to understand their digital and automation needs, conducting opportunity assessments, and Proof of Concept for new use cases. Your responsibilities will include proposing and aligning solution designs based on business requirements, formulating project business cases, and presenting projects and solution designs in governance meetings. You will be accountable for the End-to-End delivery of digital and automation solutions with Power Platform capabilities, ensuring compliance with HSBC standards and relevant governance processes. Key Responsibilities: - Manage a team of Digital & Automation Engineers to deliver solutions within scope, timeline, and budget - Engage stakeholders to understand digital and automation needs, perform opportunity assessments, and Proof of Concept for new use cases - Propose and align solution designs based on business requirements with project stakeholders - Formulate project business cases and present projects in governance meetings - Lead the End-to-End delivery of digital and automation solutions with Power Platform capabilities - Support the operation of Power Platform CoE and relevant governance bodies in HSBC - Collect and summarize feedback for continuous improvement - Lead Trainers in Citizen Programme Qualifications: General: - Proven track record in a similar role with strong project management skills - Ability to problem solve, articulate requirements, and drive delivery - Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate technical details effectively - Organized, able to work independently with limited supervision, and fast learner - Strong written and verbal communication skills in English, Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin) is a plus - Familiarity with CoE operation and Wholesale Banking industry is advantageous Technical Skills: - Proficient in Power Platform and/or RPA technologies - Good understanding of SDLC and Agile delivery approach - Sound solution design experience and hands-on experience with Power Platform capabilities - Proficiency in MS Office, Teams, Confluence, Jira, and/or Monday.com - IT/CS/Tech background with relevant degree or experience - Relevant certifications are highly preferable You will play a pivotal role in enabling businesses to thrive and economies to prosper while helping individuals fulfill their hopes and ambitions at HSBC.,
