Automation Quality Assurance Engineer

We are seeking an Automation Engineer to evaluate software quality through a combination of manual and automated testing methods. Your primary responsibility will be to identify and communicate bugs and glitches effectively. A keen attention to detail and strong communication skills are essential for success in this position. Responsibilities include collaborating with QA Engineers to devise efficient testing strategies, examining system specifications, conducting manual or automated test cases, and interpreting the outcomes. You will be required to assess product code adherence to specifications, maintain comprehensive testing logs, report identified issues to development teams, participate in issue resolution, and conduct post-release testing. Working closely with cross-functional teams to maintain quality standards throughout the software development life cycle is also a crucial aspect of this role. Requirements: - Proficiency in Automation testing using Selenium WebDriver - Understanding of BDD / TDD Cucumber Framework - Solid grasp of programming concepts, JavaScript, and other programming languages - Ability to manage Test Automation tasks effectively - Extensive experience in web-based UI, Mobile (Appium Automation), and DB testing - Skilled in designing test solutions, conducting gap analysis, and utilizing Test management tools like JIRA - Capable of developing Test strategies, plans, and cases - Knowledge of Black Box testing, Load Testing (an added advantage), and familiarity with tools such as VSTS, JIRA, Confluence - Understanding of NodeJS protector, Git commands, CI / CD Pipelines, and API Testing basics - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent teamwork, communication, and client handling capabilities - Familiarity with Jasmine would be a plus Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in computer science, Mathematics, or equivalent - Minimum of 3 years of IT-related experience - Superior interpersonal and leadership qualities - Up-to-date knowledge of IT applications and trends - Experience in client communication If you meet these requirements and are excited about the prospect of contributing to our testing processes, we look forward to meeting you.,
