Automation Quality Assurance Engineer

As an Automation Engineer, you will assess software quality through manual and automated testing. Your role involves finding and reporting bugs and glitches, executing test cases, and ensuring that products, applications, and systems work correctly. You should possess a keen eye for detail, excellent communication skills, and a passion for maintaining quality standards. **Key Responsibilities:** - Collaborate with QA Engineers to develop effective testing strategies and test plans. - Review and analyze system specifications. - Execute test cases (manual or automated) and analyze results. - Evaluate product code according to specifications. - Create logs to document testing phases and defects. - Report bugs and errors to development teams. - Assist in troubleshooting issues. - Conduct post-release/post-implementation testing. - Work with cross-functional teams to maintain quality throughout the software development life cycle. **Qualifications Required:** - Proficiency in Automation testing using Selenium Web driver. - Good Understanding of BDD/TDD Cucumber Framework. - Strong grasp of programming logics, JavaScript, OOP concepts, and other programming languages. - Ability to handle Test Automation assignments effectively. - Significant exposure to web-based UI, Mobile (Appium Automation), and DB-related testing. - Experience in designing Test solutions and performing Gap analysis. - Good Understanding of Test management Tool/JIRA. - Proficiency in creating Test strategy, Test plans, and Test cases. - Familiarity with Black Box testing & Load Testing (Additional). - Strong team player with self-motivation and excellent communication skills. - Understanding of Jasmine will be considered a value addition. - Analytical mindset with problem-solving skills. - Proficient with tools like VSTS, JIRA, Confluence. - Understanding of protector with NodeJS, basic Git commands, CI/CD Pipelines, and API Testing. If you are a Bachelor's degree holder in computer science, Math, or have an educational equivalent, with at least 3 years of IT-related experience, possessing superior interpersonal and leadership skills, along with experience in client communication, then you are the ideal candidate for this role.
