Role Overview: As an Automation Lead for APAC at Nokia, you will be responsible for driving the automation strategy and delivery. Your role will involve designing and implementing automation solutions to simplify processes, enhance efficiency, and make a real impact. You will have the opportunity to review processes, utilize data insights for continuous improvement, and collaborate with diverse teams across the APAC region. This position will allow you to shape automation, grow as a leader, and influence business outcomes in a rapidly evolving market. Key Responsibilities: - Lead the execution of the automation strategy for APAC in alignment with the overall company goals. - Identify and prioritize automation opportunities based on business needs and ROI. - Collaborate with Product & Engineering teams to design, develop, and implement automation solutions. - Oversee testing, validation, and deployment processes to ensure quality and performance standards are met. - Work closely with IT, Product & Engineering, and Services & Care teams for seamless integration. - Manage automation projects across APAC, including overseeing budgets, schedules, and resources. - Stay updated with automation trends to drive innovation, compliance, and continuous improvement. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, or a related field with a minimum of 10 years of experience in automation engineering, focusing on cloud technologies. - Expertise in 3GPP architecture reference models (4G, 5G), particularly in packet core, IMS, and Policy Management. - Experience in leading and guiding automation teams (dotted lines). - Knowledge of automation principles, technologies, and best practices. - Practical experience with automation hardware and software platforms.
