Automation Engineer

Role Overview: You will be responsible for developing and programming PLCs, HMIs, and SCADA systems according to project requirements. Additionally, you will configure and parameterize AC VFDs and AC Servo Drives. Your role will involve understanding and analyzing customer requirements for machine/plant automation and control systems, preparing system architecture diagrams, control logic documentation, and project records, supervising wiring, installation, and integration between control panels and machines/plants, as well as performing testing, debugging, and commissioning of complete automation systems at the site. You will also troubleshoot control panels, PLC programs, and field wiring issues while following organizational workflows and updating project-related activities in the ERP system. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and program PLCs, HMIs, and SCADA systems as per project requirements - Configure and parameterize AC VFDs and AC Servo Drives - Understand and analyze customer requirements for machine/plant automation and control systems - Prepare system architecture diagrams, control logic documentation, and project records for completed projects - Supervise wiring, installation, and integration between control panels and machines/plants - Perform testing, debugging, and commissioning of complete automation systems at the site - Troubleshoot control panels, PLC programs, and field wiring issues - Follow organizational workflows and update project-related activities in the ERP system Qualifications Required: - Strong knowledge of PLC programming (Schneider, Rockwell Automation) and SCADA/HMI configuration - Experience in VFD and AC Servo Drive parameterization - Understanding of industrial automation standards and control system architecture - Hands-on experience with control panel wiring supervision and troubleshooting - Familiarity with field instruments (sensors, actuators, encoders, etc.) - Knowledge of commissioning procedures and safety practices - Good communication skills for client interaction and technical discussions - Ability to work independently as well as in a team - Proficiency in ERP systems for project documentation and reporting,
