The ideal candidate will beresponsible for developing, testing, commissioning, and supporting PLC-basedautomation systems across industrial applications. This role involves bothon-site and off-site work with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth automationprocesses. Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain automation solutions using Siemens S7-1500 PLCs . Create and modify PLC programs using TIA Portal . Perform system testing, simulation, and validation of PLC logic. Handle troubleshooting and debugging of existing PLC programs and hardware systems. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Electrical, Mechanical, and Production) to integrate automation solutions. Prepare documentation for control systems including IO lists, wiring diagrams, and logic descriptions. Participate in FAT/SAT, system commissioning, and provide technical support during project execution. Ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations. Train and mentor junior engineers or technicians when required. Required Skills & Qualifications: Bachelor\u2019s degree or diploma in Electrical / Electronics / Instrumentation / Mechatronics Engineering. 4\u20136 years of experience in industrial automation and control systems. Strong proficiency in Siemens PLCs , especially S7-1500 and TIA Portal . Good understanding of SCADA/HMI systems (preferably Siemens WinCC). Experience in troubleshooting field equipment and control systems. Solid knowledge of industrial communication protocols (e.g., Profinet, Profibus). Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities. Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have): Experience in industries like Automotive, Pharma, FMCG, or Process industries. Familiarity with VFDs, Servo systems, and industrial sensors. Knowledge of safety PLCs and standards (e.g., SIL, IEC 61508).
