Role & responsibilities

Mandatory PLC & Automation Experience

1. Hardware Knowledge

Siemens PLCs: S7-1200, S7-1500
Remote I/O: ET200SP, I/O cards, Siwarex module, High-speed counter modules
HMI Panels: Comfort Panel, Basic Panel, Unified Panel
Safety relays, VFDs & Soft starters
Control circuit understanding, drawing reading, and sketching

2. PLC & SCADA Programming Skills

Siemens TIA Portal V16 V20
Programming Languages: Ladder (LAD), Function Block Diagram (FBD), Statement List (STL), Structured Control Language (SCL)
Scripting for reporting & trending
PID loop configuration and tuning
Communication protocols: Profinet, Profibus, Modbus
SCADA Development:
WinCC Advanced, WinCC Unified, ProconWin

3. VFD Knowledge

Siemens StartDrive / Starter software
Hands-on commissioning & parameterization via software and keypad

4. Switchgear & Electrical Knowledge

Selection & application of switchgear for different motor ratings
Motor protection devices & coordination basics
