Job Title:
As a Consultant in our team, you'll build and nurture positive working relationships with both internal teams and clients, with the intention to exceed client expectations. You will actively contribute to the design, development and delivery of cloud-native, data-driven solutions that help clients transform their technology landscapes and make better use of their data.
 
As a Consultant on our team you will:
Roles & Responsibilities -
- Administer and manage [platform/tool name, e.g.,] the Tines platform and build advanced security automation playbooks.
- Build new Tines actions and connectors using REST APIs and JSON.
- Automate Google Cloud (GCP) resource configuration using custom Tines actions.
- Partner with security and cloud teams to automate complex operational workflows, improving efficiency, reliability and security.
- Engage with clients and internal teams to understand requirements, translate them into actionable automation use-cases, build solutions, and support deployment and operationalisation.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of automation frameworks and practices, help document solutions and best-practice standards, and support training of key stakeholders.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelors degree (B.Tech / B.E. / equivalent) in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical discipline.
- Approx. 5 years of relevant experience in security automation, cloud operations, integration, scripting, or infrastructure engineering.
- Experience with REST APIs, JSON, and connector/integration development.
- Hands-on with cloud platforms (GCP preferred) and knowledge of resource configuration/automation in cloud environments.
- Familiarity with automation platforms and workflow orchestration tools (Tines or similar).
- Ability to work effectively with security, cloud, and operations teams; strong problem-solving skills and a bias for automation and efficiency.
- Good written and verbal communication skills; comfortable interacting with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Nice-to-Have (Preferred Skills / Certifications)
- Certifications such as Tines Certified Professional, Google Cloud Certified (any track), AWS/Azure Cloud Certification, CompTIA Security+, Certified SOC Analyst (CSA) or similar.
- Experience using Jira/Confluence and ServiceNow or similar ITSM platforms.
- Exposure to agile/scrum methodologies, DevOps practices, incident response / SOC workflows.
- Strong scripting/automation skills (Python, PowerShell, Bash etc.).
- Experience or exposure to data engineering, big data, machine-learning pipelines or real-time analytics.
- Knowledge of agile / scrum methodologies and DevOps practices.
- AWS certification(s) (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, AWS Certified Developer).
- Familiarity with microservices architecture, containerisation, cloud-native patterns and data-lake architectures.

Work Youll Do
In this role as an Automation Engineer Senior Consultant you will:
- Administer the Tines platform and build advanced security automation playbooks.

- Partner with security and cloud teams to automate complex operational workflows.
 
- Design, develop, deploy and optimise automation solutions that improve security operations and cloud processes at scale.
 
- Integrate automation workflows across multiple security tools, cloud environments and enterprise systems.
 
- Ensure automation aligns with business goals, risk, compliance and operational efficiency.
 
- Mentor and guide junior members of the team; drive continuous improvement of automation frameworks and best practices.
 
What Youll Bring
- A Bachelors degree (B.Tech / B.E. or equivalent) in Computer Science, Information Technology or related technical discipline.
 
- Minimum 5+ yearsof professional experience in cloud operations, security automation, RPA / integration, or related automation engineering roles.
- Hands-on experience with the Tines platform (or comparable workflow / SOAR/automation platforms).
 
- Strong experience designing and building connectors/integrations using REST APIs and JSON.
 
- Experience automating cloud resource configurationparticularly on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
 
- Proven ability to partner with security, cloud and operations teams to automate complex workflows and processes.
 
- Excellent scripting / automation skills (such as Python, PowerShell, Bash) and comfort working with cloud-native technologies.
 
- Experience leading or guiding junior engineers/automation resources; strong problem-solving, communication and stakeholder-management skills.
 
- Preferred / Nice to Have:
- Certifications such as Tines Certified Professional, Google Cloud Certified (any track), AWS/Azure cloud certification, CompTIA Security+, CISSP, CEH or similar.
 
- Experience using automation in security / SOC / incident response contexts.
 
- Familiarity with ITSM/DevOps tools (Jira/Confluence, ServiceNow) and agile methodologies.
