Automation Engineer-PLC, VFD

Responsible for providing on-site technical support to customers regarding the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of industrial automation systems, including hardware, software, and network components, ensuring optimal system performance and customer satisfaction by resolving technical issues and delivering timely service. Key responsibilities: Installation and Commissioning: Install and configure industrial automation systems on customer sites according to project specifications. Perform system commissioning, including testing and calibration of hardware and software components. Maintenance and Troubleshooting: Conduct preventative maintenance visits to identify potential issues and ensure system reliability. Diagnose and troubleshoot malfunctions in industrial automation systems, including PLC logic, HMI interfaces, sensors, actuators, and network connectivity. Perform repairs and replacements of faulty components. Technical Support: Provide technical assistance to customers via phone, email, or remote access for troubleshooting and resolving system issues. Offer training and guidance to customers on system operation and troubleshooting techniques. Required Skills and Qualifications: Technical Expertise: Strong understanding of industrial automation systems, including PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers), HMIs (Human Machine Interfaces), motion control systems, and network protocols, VFD (Variable Frequency Drives) Experience in Omron PLCs, FUJI PLCs and SEIMENS PLCs will be added advantage Experience in FUJI and SIEMENS VFD will be added advantage. Knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems within industrial environments. Fieldwork Capability: Willingness to travel to customer sites and work in industrial environments. Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field. Minimum of 0-2 years of experience working with industrial automation systems in a field service role.
