As a Technical Support Engineer, you will be responsible for providing on-site technical support to customers regarding the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of industrial automation systems, ensuring optimal system performance and customer satisfaction by resolving technical issues and delivering timely service. Key responsibilities: - Install and configure industrial automation systems on customer sites according to project specifications. - Perform system commissioning, including testing and calibration of hardware and software components. - Conduct preventative maintenance visits to identify potential issues and ensure system reliability. - Diagnose and troubleshoot malfunctions in industrial automation systems, including PLC logic, HMI interfaces, sensors, actuators, and network connectivity. - Provide technical assistance to customers via phone, email, or remote access for troubleshooting and resolving system issues. - Offer training and guidance to customers on system operation and troubleshooting techniques. Required Skills and Qualifications: - Strong understanding of industrial automation systems, including PLCs, HMIs, motion control systems, network protocols, and VFD. - Experience in Omron, FUJI, and SIEMENS PLCs, as well as FUJI and SIEMENS VFD, will be an added advantage. - Knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems within industrial environments. - Willingness to travel to customer sites and work in industrial environments. Education and Experience: - Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field. - Minimum of 0-2 years of experience working with industrial automation systems in a field service role.
