Automation Engineer-PLC, VFD

As an On-Site Technical Support Engineer for industrial automation systems, your main responsibility will be to ensure the optimal performance of these systems by providing installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair services to customers. You will play a crucial role in resolving technical issues promptly and delivering high-quality service to ensure customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities: - Installation and Commissioning: - Install and configure industrial automation systems according to project specifications. - Conduct system commissioning, testing, and calibration of hardware and software components. - Maintenance and Troubleshooting: - Perform preventative maintenance visits to identify and address potential issues. - Diagnose and troubleshoot malfunctions in PLC logic, HMI interfaces, sensors, actuators, and network connectivity. - Carry out repairs and replacements of faulty components. - Technical Support: - Provide technical assistance to customers through various channels like phone, email, or remote access for troubleshooting and issue resolution. - Offer training and guidance to customers on system operation and troubleshooting techniques. Required Skills and Qualifications: - Technical Expertise: - Strong understanding of industrial automation systems, including PLCs, HMIs, motion control systems, and network protocols. - Experience with Omron, FUJI, and SIEMENS PLCs will be advantageous. - Knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems in industrial environments. - Fieldwork Capability: - Willingness to travel to customer sites and work in industrial settings. Education and Experience: - Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field. - 0-2 years of experience working with industrial automation systems in a field service capacity.
