Automation Engineer

Position Purpose

In this role you will be part of an international, multi-functional squad with colleagues in Chennai and Belgium. The squad is responsible for the development and maintenance of a key credit and risk application of BNP Paribas Group. It works in an agile mode with daily huddles and frequent production releases, whilst maintaining high quality standards.

The squad is part of Tribe Risk and Credit with its main management in Belgium at BNP Paribas Fortis, a sister company of ISPL.

Responsibilities

• As member of an international, multi-functional squad you participate to the testing and support of qualitative java products, solutions and services.
• Act as an expert Automation tester, guaranteeing high quality test automation tools.
• Promote best practices in testing.
• Test design & preparation of the dataset.
• Execution of the test sets & reporting to the squad & the Tribe Test Engineer.
• Implementing and setting up test automation suites.
• Integrating the suites in the pipelines and automation of the result delivery to Octane.

Technical & Behavioral Competencies

• At least 5 years of experience in testing
• SQL
• Selenium and Java /API testing / Cucumber
• Octane (nice to have)
• Rally (nice to have)
• Jenkings ( Nice to have)
• Groovy ( Nice to have)
• Agile and Scrum experience
• You have knowledge of banking and payments products.
• Proactive mindset.
