As an Automation Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining automation systems for stainless steel bioprocess equipment. This includes bioreactors, fermenters, and ultrafiltration systems. Ideally, you should have 2-4 years of experience in automation and instrumentation engineering with a focus on system optimization, troubleshooting, and compliance with industry standards. Your key responsibilities will include programming and integration tasks such as developing control logic, sequencing, PID loops, and recipe control for fermentation and filtration processes. You will also be writing, debugging, and maintaining PLC and HMI programs. Additionally, you will integrate automation systems with SCADA systems, implement alarm handling, batch control, interlocks, and process safety features. Furthermore, you will assist in designing and developing automation systems for bioprocess equipment using PLCs, HMIs, SCADA, and DCS platforms.
