Automation Engineer

Role & responsibilities:

Installation and Commissioning:

• Supervise installation of field instrument, knowledge of control panel wiring
• Knowledge of major interlocks wiring, testing and troubleshooting.

Operation and maintenance:

• Diagnose and resolve faults instrumentation and control equipment's.
• Plan and execute preventive and predictive maintenance schedules.

Process and control Automation:

• Develop, test and modify PLC and Hmi logic.
• Implement automation improvements to increase productivity.
• Should knowledge of VFD wiring, testing and Troubleshooting.

Documentation and compliances:

• Prepare and maintain documentation, COQ, calibration report and other related maintenance.
• Ensure Compliance with health, safety and environmental regulation.
• Support Audits and certification process.

Coordination and Support:

• Coordinate with project teams, vendors and contractors.
• Provide technical support to operation and maintenance team.
• Train technicians and junior engineers on instrumentation best practices.

Continuous Improvement & Upgradation:

• Evaluate new technologies and instrumentation solutions.
• Lead support projects involving system, upgrades and expansion.
• Analyze Plant data to Identify area for Process improvement.
