Job Description

Job Summary:

AutoLISP Developer

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and implement custom applications and tools for AutoCAD using

    AutoLISP and ARX (C++)

    .
  • Enhance and automate AutoCAD workflows by adding new functionalities or modifying existing features.
  • Develop and integrate

    dialog boxes and UI components

    using DCL or other relevant tools.
  • Analyse, debug, and resolve issues in existing AutoCAD plug-ins or automation scripts.
  • Maintain and update legacy code written in AutoLISP, ARX, or other AutoCAD-supported languages.
  • Document code, write technical specifications, and assist in deployment and maintenance.

 

Required Skills:

  • 3+ years

    of experience in AutoCAD customization using

    AutoLISP

    and

    ObjectARX (C++)

    .
  • Strong understanding of

    AutoCAD architecture

    and CAD standards.
  • Proven experience in building AutoCAD-based applications

    from scratch

    .
  • Experience in creating and managing

    custom dialog boxes

    using DCL.
  • Strong debugging skills with the ability to resolve

    build errors, performance issues, and crashes

    .
  • Experience with deployment and packaging of AutoCAD plug-ins.
  • Experience in creating OEM builds.

 

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
