AutoCAD Draughtsman

The Architectural Assistant will support senior architects and project teams in design development, documentation, coordination, and presentation of architectural projects across various stages—from concept to construction. Design & Documentation Assist in preparation of concept designs, schematic layouts, and design development drawings Prepare architectural working drawings including plans, sections, elevations, and details Support preparation of presentation drawings, 3D views, and renderings Revise drawings based on internal reviews, client comments, and statutory requirements Software & Technical Support Draft and model using AutoCAD / Revit / SketchUp / Rhino (as applicable) Assist in preparation of Area statements, GFC drawings, and as-built drawings Coordinate with consultants (structural, MEP, landscape) under guidance Coordination & Site Support Assist in consultant coordination drawings Participate in site visits, measurements, and documentation Support preparation of site instructions, drawing registers, and revision logs Compliance & Quality Assist in checking drawings for code compliance, project standards, and accuracy Maintain organized drawing archives and project documentation Required Skills & Competencies Proficiency in AutoCAD (mandatory) Working knowledge of Revit / SketchUp / Photoshop / MS Office Basic understanding of building construction methods and materials Familiarity with local building bye-laws and approval processes (preferred) Strong attention to detail Good communication and coordination skills Ability to work in a team-based, deadline-driven environment Willingness to learn and take responsibility Exposure to residential / commercial / mixed-use projects Experience in developer-led or consultancy environments Basic knowledge of BOQs, specifications, and tender drawings What We Offer Opportunity to work on live architectural projects Mentorship from experienced architects Professional growth and learning exposure Competitive salary as per industry standards
