Autocad Drafter

Autocad Drafter at Gaurang Patel Architects LLP will support the design team by preparing precise 2D architectural drawings and working details for projects in Gandhinagar, ensuring that all drawings meet firm standards and project timelines. This is a full‑time, on‑site role suited to a detail‑oriented drafter with strong AutoCAD skills and an interest in architectural practice.​

The Autocad Drafter will translate sketches, concepts, and mark‑ups from architects into accurate construction drawings, layouts, and details for residential and commercial projects. The role contributes directly to smooth project execution by coordinating with architects, engineers, and site teams to keep drawings updated and consistent with design intent.​

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed 2D architectural drawings, working drawings, and schedules using AutoCAD as per office standards and codes.​
• Update and revise drawings based on architect/engineer feedback, site inputs, and client comments while maintaining version control.​
• Coordinate with architects, structural and MEP consultants to incorporate design changes and resolve drawing discrepancies.​
• Produce submission sets, good‑for‑construction drawings, and as‑built drawings within agreed timelines.​
• Maintain organised drawing files, layers, templates, and plotting settings for efficient printing and digital sharing.​

Qualifications

• Diploma or ITI in Civil/Architecture Drafting or related field, with solid training in AutoCAD drafting.​ or
• Proven experience (typically 1–3 years) as an AutoCAD Drafter in an architectural or civil design office will be preferred.​
• Proficiency in AutoCAD; familiarity with 3D visualisation or tools like SketchUp/Revit will be an added advantage.​
• Strong attention to detail, time‑management skills, and willingness to collaborate with multidisciplinary project teams.​
